Even if you wear a hard contact lens on a very irregular cornea, the lens will not deform. This makes the hard contact lens great for correcting keratoconus. Keratoconus contact lenses have a special fit. This protects the vulnerable, bulging top of the cone as much as possible. With the advent of larger hard contact lenses, the possibilities have expanded even further.
